Enrolment, Registration

Enrolment is done at the Registrar’s Office B-025 in person or online by uploading the necessary documents to Neptun during the enrolment period. To be able to register, full-time students not participating in Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship must have paid the full amount of their tuition fee.

WHY? Without an active student status, you will not be able to start your studies in Pécs.

In-person enrolment:

Registrar’s Office in B-025 Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9.00 – 11.30 Bring the following documents with you for the enrolment:

  • passport / ID
  • visa/residence permit (if you have)
  • certificates of the previous school
  • language certificate
  • admission letter
  • acceptance letter for the -Stipendium Hungaricum students
  • enrollment sheet with the barcode (signed)


Print and sign the matriculation sheet and thereby officially activate your student status at the University of Pécs.


Enrolment (online) in Neptun

You have to register for each semester through Neptun Educational System. You can find instructions for its use under Neptun Guideline.

Your login information for Neptun will be sent to your email address by the beginning of the enrolment period.

Please, upload the following documents to the Neptun system for enrollment. (Neptun system. / Information / Documents, as OKMÁNYOK)

  • enrollment sheet with the barcode (signed) Download from the Neptun/ Administration /Requests- Submitted request)
  • passport / ID
  • visa/residence permit (if you have)
  • certificates of previous school
  • language certificate
  • admission letter
  • Acceptance letter for the -Stipendium Hungaricum students



You will need to request 4 copies of the student status certificate from the Registry Office for:

1. Residence permit –at the Immigration Office

2. Medical Insurance card (TAJ card) –at the Central Registrar’s Office

3. Student Card –at the Government Office

4. Hungarian bank account –at any bank’s branch office in Hungary


Please note that Student Status Certificates can only be issued following the approval of your matriculation sheet by the Registry Office. However, if you activate your student status at the enrolment through Neptun, you will be able to sign up for courses before the approval of your matriculation sheet.

Tuition fee payment

The deadline for tuition fee payment is two weeks before the start of the instruction period in each semester. Payment can be made at the Cash Desks of the University. Please find their opening hours below:

Training and Fee Payment Agreement (for self-financed students): You can download your Training and fee payment agreement from the Neptun system ( Studies Menu –Official notes) Please print and sign them and send two original copies to the Central Registry Office (CRO) by post.
