Description of the programme:

This programme is aimed at professionals with an interest in mechanical engineering in the built environment and industrial fields who desire a strong component of practical work. The aim is to provide education to a bachelor level in mechanical engineering, to cater to industry on the national and international market; our graduated professionals are able to excel  in the contemporary world of engineering. The course includes modules in the practical aspects of planning and industrial management sciences, as well as in systems engineering studying  mechanical, mechatronical and electronic aspects,  simulation of engineering systems and numerical modelling, quality control and innovation techniques.  Students also learn how to develop  research and presentation skills. The faculty’s international connections with other universities allows students to apply for scholarships for studying abroad and taking part in workshops. The education is made up of laboratory work, projects and examinations, lectures and field practice spent at one of the industrial partners of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering.
