Description of the programme:

The Masters programme in Architectural Design is for people who already have a degree in architecture and are interested in gaining a more specialized, international perspective on design and inspiration at the highest level.  The structure of the programme has been designed to allow architects to follow trends in design, design theory, planning techniques, urban design and the contemporary state of architecture.  The aim of this new design-based Masters programme is to focus on the relationships between the different artistic disciplines and complex architectural environments, allowing students to adopt new innovative approaches to architecture. The course examines different design problems, offering an opportunity to learn interactive design techniques and new architectural theories to create original design solutions. Students come from a broad range of creative contexts, including design, urban and environment design, building and interior design, and solve problems through group work in live workshop projects. It prepares creative individuals for professional practice in architectural design and other space-form skills.
