Dear Applicants and Prospective Students,
Concerning the ongoing circumstances regarding the COVID-19 epidemic, kindly note that the admission at the University of Pécs is still in process, and we are accepting your applications for the upcoming academic year (2020/2021). We continue to take every necessary measures and precautions to safeguard the health of university students, lecturers, and staff, and the citizens of Pécs. We are optimistic that the epidemic will be gone before the fall semester starts next September and everything will be alright again.

Deadline for Application & Tuition Fee Payments
Regarding the payment of Application fee / Tuition fee, we are flexible with the deadlines, taking into consideration the lockdown in any country which might limit access to banks. So we can extend the payment deadline if you request it. Please note, we accept both kinds of payments, either bank transfer or through the online payment portal TransferWise. If you have questions, please contact international@pte.hu.
· Refundable Tuition Fees
In case if you do not get the visa for any
reason, i.e.: the borders will remain closed, you do not need to worry about the
tuition fee since it is refundable according to the university’s regulations.
We recommend you to contact our faculty directly in this regard.

Can I apply now?
The administrative process of admission to the University of Pécs continues despite the COVID-19 virus alert. We are accepting your applications for the upcoming academic year (2020/2021). We are optimistic that the fall semester will start in September as usual. Meanwhile, we continue to take every necessary measure and precaution to safeguard the health of university students, lecturers, and staff as well as the citizens of Pécs.
I have difficulties paying the application fee and the tuition fee. How can I proceed?
Regarding the payment of the Application fee / Tuition fee, we are flexible with the deadlines, taking into consideration the lockdown in any country which might limit access to banks. We can extend the payment deadline if you request it. Please note that we accept both bank transfer and online payment via TransferWise (https://transferwise.com).
If I am admitted, pay fees and cannot commence my studies in Semester 1, 2020, am I eligible for a refund?
In case you do not get your visa for any reason, you need not to worry about having paid your tuition fee since it is refundable according to the university’s regulations. I’m worried I might not be able to start my studies at UP as planned. What should I do?
