Generali STUDIUM accident and health insurance
Although EU students may be able to use their insurance in Hungary, medical insurance is recommended for international students, as full coverage of general health insurance for Hungary is a prerequisite for registration at any faculty of the University of Pécs.
Hungarian Social Security Card
Students participating in Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship may apply for Social Security Card (’TAJ’ card) through the Neptun System.
WHY? Without your medical insurance, you are not entitled to free medical treatment in Hungary. Your insurance card also provides you with a discount on prescribed medicine.
HOW? First of all, please check all your personal data (name, place of birth, temporary address, etc.) in the Neptun. It must be in accordance with the residence permit. If there is a difference, your request will be refused.
In the Neptun Administration->Requests
You have to check your personal data, upload three documents and submit the request at the end.
