The main elements of the cooperation:

1) "Architecture Innovation Class"
Within the framework of the program, students of architecture/interior design at the School of Arts and Design can take up parallel courses organized with the participation of professors and lecturers from Pécs. It is always a group of selected students, who get acquainted with European architecture and the characteristics of the school in Pécs in English-language education. Students are supported in their studies and university work by faculty members working on the Chinese campus and by local colleagues who occasionally pursue postgraduate studies simultaneously in the English-language DLA / PhD program of the Breuer Marcell Doctoral School of Architecture. As a result of this joint work, students completing the “Architecture Innovation Class” will be prepared in a focused way to pursue their studies at the Master’s training of UP FEIT.

2) Interior design joint master program
The joint program means that we have thoroughly examined the curricula of the Interior Design MA training - in the portfolio of both institutions - and determined the range of subjects that can be considered equivalent. As a result, the agreement allows students to spend full years at the partner institution in a controlled way and thus obtain a degree certificate from both institutions at the end of a joint third year.

The program is called 1 + 1 + 1, because after one year completed in Wuhan the selected students complete their interior design studies in Pécs, and then, integrating their projects here, they will graduate in Wuhan after another year of study in China.

3) One-semester visiting student program
Thanks to the common content in their portfolios, the two institutions have agreed to allow students to study as a visiting student for one semester in case of prior consultation of the curriculum and appropriate language skills. During the relevant semester, it is possible to select a minimum of 20 credits, which will be accepted at the home institution for courses in accordance with the compulsory curriculum. UP FEIT provides the training free of charge to the three most promising HBUT students.

4) Cooperation regarding the Doctoral School
The two institutions have also agreed to monitor the development of each other's portfolios and the progress of lecturers, looking for opportunities for joint professional scientific appearances. As a result, several lecturers from HBUT have been admitted to the English-language program of the Marcel Breuer Doctoral School in Pécs in order to obtain a doctoral degree. These colleagues play a particularly important role in the joint work between the two institutions.

5) Erasmus+ international credit mobility
From the 2021/2022 academic year, UP FEIT won a credit mobility program for lecturers, similar to Erasmus teaching mobility program, together with HBUT School of Design, which enabled international teaching activities in both institutions.

6) Workshops
In this joint project, we analyze current issues and professional situations, the solution of which requires a particularly dynamic educational framework. As a result of joint work taking 1-3 weeks, architecture students of HBUT and UP FEIT work together under the guidance of their instructors in mixed groups in English.
