Infineon workshop for STEM students in Hungary: introducing the most essential power electronic components used in different areas of electrification (e.g. electric vehicles, renewable energy, transport systems...), with a special focus on the key characteristics of power MOSFETs and wide bandgap (WBG) semiconductor switching devices

Infineon Austria is a market leader in the development and production of semiconductors for industrial applications in many areas. The company is currently working on building new business relationships in the region, including in Hungary. Besides industrial stakeholders the company also targets university students and wants to introduce its scholarship and intern programmes. During the workshop the participants will learn about power MOSFET electrical behaviour and device physics and get to know the latest technology of wide bandgap semiconductors. The host of the event is the Széchenyi István University of Győr.

 

The presentations will be followed by a free networking business lunch.
