Cultural Puzzle Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme
The
Cultural Puzzle Erasmus Blended Intensive Program led by associate professor Dr
Tamás Molnár, was organized in the current semester by the Institute of
Architecture of the University of Pécs Faculty of Engineering and Information
Technology. Besides the UP-FEIT, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts FH
Dortmund (FHDO) from Germany and the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University (JJSU)
from Croatia participated in the international program with 8-8 3rd
year students of architecture.
Work of the students was guided from the
UP-FEIT by Dr Tamás Molnár and Enkhjin Gombo-Ochir, from the FHDO Prof. Dr
Helmut Hachul and Prof. Dr Reinhild Schultz-Fölsing, from the JJSU by Dr Hrvoje
Krstić and Dr Dina Stober. The program started with the presence part between
24-28 October 2022. During the 5 days that was spent in Pécs students could get
to know the most important architectural sights of the Pécs downtown with the
guidance of Dr Tamás Molnár. Topic of the international program was dealing
with the University Library and its garden in the Szepesy street that was
introduced to the group by Krisztina Dezső, head of department museologist. Students
were helped to understand the history and the current operation of the city of
Pécs by the lectures of Dr János Gyergyák and Dr Krisztián Szigetvári during
the first two days. On the second day afternoon participants of the program
could get to know the Orfű Mills and the Fountain House with the guidance of Dr
Gábor Veres. On the upcoming days, spent in Pécs students were preparing an
idea plan for the library garden in international groups that they presented on
the last day. Result of the idea plan competition is:

The program was continuing with the online part. After two online consultations, student teams presented online their developed, detailed architectural plans on the 06 December 2022. The plans were again evaluated by the jury of the lecturers.
