CALL FOR ABSTRACT PAPERS

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in "IFAU 2019 – 3rd International Forum on Architecture and Urbanism. Modernisation and Globalization: Challenges and Opportunities in Architecture, Urbanism, and Cultural Heritage, “scheduled to be held on 21-23 November 2019 at Polytechnic University, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Tirana - Albania.

You are welcome to meet multinational participants from Adriatic - Ionian Euro region, Europe and beyond, from different fields. The goal is to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Architecture, Urbanism, and Cultural Heritage within Modernization and Globalization trends of XXI century.

You can contribute to this forum on the following main topics:

 

1.    GLOBAL / LOCAL MODERNIZATION'S

2.    XXth CENTURY MODERNISM AND THE QUESTION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

3.    PHENOMENA OF RE-GENERATION, REVITALIZATION, RECYCLE, REUSE

4.     MODERNIZATION/ GLOBALIZATION OF URBAN PLANNING/DESIGN AND LANDSCAPES

5.     MODERN HOUSING

6.    MODERN DESIGNING AND DAILY LIFE/UNIVERSAL DESIGN

7.    UTILIZATION OF FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES

8.     SUSTAINABILITY IN THE ERA OF MODERNIZATION/ GLOBALIZATION

 

The Conference will publish Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings. The best scientific papers will be published in the international monograph “Collana FAU. Forum for Architecture and Urbanism”, by the Italian publishing house: “La scuola di Pitagora editrice“ (www.scuoladipitagora.it) and e-book, PDF distributed by international EBSCO (https://www.ebsco.com), as is already the practice of IFAU conferences.

Abstracts must be sent to 2019.ifau@gmail.com  before the deadline of 5th June 2019.
