'SMART HOME' will be the central theme of the 2024 Pollack
Expo, scheduled to take place on April 18-19th this year. The expo aims to
showcase the integration of technical solutions to create intelligent
buildings. In addition to this focus, this year's event will feature student
developments within the thriving electric vehicle industry. Notably, attendees
will have the opportunity to view an electric go-kart constructed by students
from the University of Pécs Faculty of Engineering, including disciplines such
as Industrial Product and Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, and
Engineering Informatics.
Organized for the
17th consecutive year by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
of the University of Pécs, the technical exhibition will be held at the Pécs
Expo Centre. Attendees can engage with over 100 specialized presentations and
explore innovations showcased by approximately 130 exhibitors. Moreover,
visitors can enjoy captivating displays, including 3D printing demonstrations
and a shutter-building competition specifically designed for students.
This year's Pollack Expo will also serve as the venue for
the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Open4Business international
business meeting. Additionally, professional training sessions will be hosted
by the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers and the Hungarian Chamber of Architects.
