New EU-funded research and innovation project kicks off in Coventry

COVENTRY, 17 FEBRUARY 2020: CSI-COP (Citizen Scientists Investigating Cookies and App GDPR compliance) is a 30-month project which started in January 2020. It will leverage citizen science in collaboration with a transdisciplinary team to investigate tracking-by-default in website cookies (small text files) and smartphone apps.

Our faculty is organising the 14th POLLACK EXPO on February 27- 28, 2020. The POLLACK EXPO is a professional exhibition and conference, which is regarded as a regular educational day with an off-site programme for students attending all academic years.

Erasmus+ Student Mobility for 2020/2021 academic year

Dear Students!

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Pécs calls for applications for participating in the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Learning Programme and Traineeship in the Academic Year 2020/2021. The aim is to ensure the opportunity to gain educational, language and cultural experience in a higher education institution of another programme country. Learning mobility is to enhance the academic performance and develop the personal skills and abilities of the student.

FameLab: science communication competition

FameLab is an international competition to find and support the world's most talented new science communicators. Participants have three minutes to win over the judges and audience with a scientific talk that excels for its content, clarity and charisma.


Sense of past and sense of place - Designing Heritage Tourism

The network of schools of architecture Designing Heritage Tourism Landscapes (www.iuav.it/dhtl) promotes an international conference at Iuav University of Venice. 

Entitled Sense of Past and Sense of Place. Designing Heritage Tourism, the conference will take place at Badoer Palace on 14-16 September 2020. 

The aim of the conference is to investigate the relation between heritage, use, tourist enhancement and project at the architectural urban and landscape scale.

Those who are interested in participating, are invited to submit an abstract (min. 1500 and max. 3000 characters) in one of the conference’s languages (Italian, English), filling in the online form, including maximum of 3 images, 5 bibliographical references and a short author’s bio, no later than March 27.
