EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH ACTIVITY:

It is a unique feature in training architects, deriving from the workshop-like educational form, that the tasks of students during the practical design courses are all based on real problems. After continuous consultations, architectural projects are made, which can certainly affect the actual tasks of the market and vice versa. The working method is extraordinary since it stands on more pillars constantly moving in parallel with each other with a close correlation in order to connect and then separate again. The arising questions, ideas, results, and publications in the framework of an urban rehabilitation task are later channeled into the educational work at the university resulting in curricula and further publications. It is an unbeatable and exceptional advantage that these works are often manifested in architectural products or buildings, but the visual appearance, design, plan, and the ready-made model definitely result in dual, - written and visual - communication. In this way, our results are revealed at exhibitions, presentations, and forums besides the traditional publication forms.

Due to continuous experiments, new topics are born and presentational materials are formed. I tend to present my research results to my students as much as I deem it possible. Educational materials were designed titled ‘Architectural Planning 1’ and ‘Design Methods 1-2’ and financed by TÁMOP (Social Renewal Operational Programme).

According to the daily architectural works, the actual topics often change at the Doctoral School.

Interreg - with the title ISD-Uni Project' I was leading a project dealing with integrated regional development together with a Croatian higher education institution, and with the bilateral involvement of students, within the framework of a 16-month-long cooperation in higher education (2017-2018) (HUH/1601/4.1.1/0001)

In the Modern Cities Program of the University of Pécs, I was in charge of professional tasks on behalf of the Chancellory between 2016-2018.
