COVID-19 - Health / Safety FAQ
Health and safety questions regarding COVID-19
1) What are the general guidelines for safely
returning to campus?
New cleaning and safety measures operate to help prevent the
spread of COVID-19. Please follow these guidelines to help you play a role
in contributing to the health and safety of our campus community.
- Face coverings: Until a vaccine is available, the most effective way to protect yourself and others is to be 100% consistent in wearing a face covering at all times in public spaces. Face coverings may include commercially available or homemade masks, scarfs, bandanas or handkerchiefs.
- Social distance: Leave 1,5m physical distance between yourself and others at all times. Any time individuals come within 1,5m of another person, acceptable face coverings must be worn.
- Hand-washing: Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds several times throughout the day. Many hand-sanitizer dispensers have also been installed in every building.
- Classroom safety: Furniture in classrooms has been arranged to facilitate social distancing; please do not re-arrange the furniture. Comply with all guidelines in campus buildings, classrooms, laboratories, studios and common areas.
2) Will students need to wear masks?
Wearing a mask is compulsory; everytime, everywhere inside the Faculty building.
3) Will the Faculty provide masks for students?
No. We need students to supply their own masks.

placed hand sanitizer stations which are located at building entrances and
corridors. Departmens have extra hand sanitizer to share with their employees,
students and visitors.
5) How are classrooms and buildings going to be cleaned and sanitized?
We are committed to cleaning and sanitizing all university
spaces to minimize the ability of the virus to spread. Our Cleaning Team has
developed rigorous sanitation procedures and processes.

Furniture
in classrooms has been arranged to facilitate social distancing; please do not
re-arrange the furniture. You will also see stickers or sign on chairs and
corridors.
7) Will students be tested before coming to campus?
No. We will no longer offer
testing on campus.
8) If students would like to have their roommate tested, will the University
facilitate that?
